The NEC D series StorageManager software performs basic and advanced storage management functions. It is a browser-based interface that is used to control all aspects and functions of the D-series. It can manage multiple arrays from a single point and there is nothing extra to install when additional software is added. When new functions are enabled, they are accessed, displayed, and controlled through the same familiar interface.
StorageManager provides the following functions: Configuration and Security Management, System Monitoring, Security and extended features such as snapshots, replication, power Management and Virtual Storage partitioning from a single console.
